Below is a picture of Burney Falls, which IMO should be as hyped as Yosemite.
The next few pictures were taken aerially from a helicopter ride over Redding. This was especially incredible because I could see Mount Shasta from above!
What does a fish say when it bumps into a wall? Thats right, the next photo captures the Great Shasta Dam, which was built during the Great Depression. At the time of its completion, the Shasta Dam was the second tallest dam in the world. The dam was also especially important during WWII, as it provided electricity to California factories during the war. Dam!
