I’m back with another restaurant review! This time, it’s Yummy Spicy, at Doraville, Georgia. Yummy Spicy delivers absolutely delicious, impeccable, Sichuan dishes. When I stepped in, I was immediately greeted with a vibrant and welcoming interior, and music for karaoke. We ordered the classics: twice-cooked pork (回鍋肉 – hui guo rou), Sichuan spicy chicken (辣子鸡 – la zi ji), and Sichuan boiled fish (水煮鱼 – shui zhu yu). As a part of a lunch deal, we also got a crispy egg roll and warm, comforting egg drop soup. The twice-cooked pork was tender, savory, and flavorful, the Sichuan spicy chicken was crispy and spicy, and the Sichuan boiled fish was chef’s kiss. If you are EVER near this area, I 100% recommend coming here. 10/10 meal.
