Tucked in a plaza near El Camino Real, Sulbing is known for its bingsu and Korean delicacies. Bingsu is a popular Korean shaved ice dessert made from frozen ice shavings and usually topped with sweet ingredients like condensed milk and fresh fruit. This past weekend, I had the pleasure of heading to this location and tasting some of their sweet treats. So, below is my review of this spot!
My family ordered the Strawberry and Mango Cheese Sulbing, along with a Mozzarella Injeolmi Toast. The sulbings both included a small cup of sweetened condensed milk, and after taking the necessary photos, we dug in! Digging into the heart of the matter, the sulbings were frosty and sweet, perfect for a hot summer day. I preferred the Mango Cheese Sulbing, as the sweet and juicy mango gave the shaved ice a refreshing taste. The Strawberry Sulbing had beautifully sliced strawberries, and wasn’t overly sweet, perfectly matching the Asian palate. Overall, we loved these desserts.

The Mozzarella Injeolmi Toast was soft and savory, and created the perfect balance between the sweet bread and the salty mozzarella cheese. The texture of this dish, however, is what made it a perfect 10/10, as it pulled apart in a cheesy cascade into our salivating mouths.
Beyond the delectable tastes of our food, we enjoyed a lively seating area outside, which created a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere to maximize our enjoyment of the desserts..
If you’re ever craving bingsu or other Korean desserts, Sulbing is a 10/10 spot!
